This website portfolio concept is born from the belief that gifted learners deserve the best in career development because their future, is our future.

The conceptualization of career development for gifted learners is not a particularly new idea, however, the R.E.A.C.H. framework does provide innovative clarity and guidance especially for world language educators of gifted learners on this domain of psychosocial growth.

By focusing on gifted learners in their formative and final years of high school, educators can leverage career development as a school-wide enrichment initiative that is specifically rooted in the advanced world languages classroom because this is already fertile ground for transformative psychosocial growth.

When all is said and done, I believe that my work is nothing more than organized common sense. Although it is frequently referred to as the ‘theory’ of gifted education, I have tried to make all of my work as practical as possible.
